NOT PICTURED: Mable Abbott. School Board has many and varied activities The school board is a group elected by the townspeople. They see that the school abides by the state laws, in such things as' subjects and graduation requirements. The school board approves the school policies, and student activities. They also control the purse strings and decide where and how the district money is to be spent. This year a great deal is being spent for the new football equipment and field, which the students will appreciate in future years. 6 XPE ACULTY New Faces MRS. ' The first student council of Peshastin-Dryden High School, led by President Steve Reister, worked closely with the students to bring the success we anticipated from consolidation. They first encountered the task of drawing up a constitution that would be the backbone of our school throughout the coming years. Sup- ported in their success by the Student Body, they received the needed encouragement to face new problems of development. The Council sincerely hopes that next year will show as much con- tinued advancement. President, STEVE RE ISTER Vice President, LEO CLOTHIER Secretary, EARLYNE WYNNE A. S. B.
