Junior Gloss History In the fall of 1926, twenty freshmen entered ?eshsstin High School. It was the first eless which Wes not entirely green to enter high school as all freshmen ere, but we out up our gieen flag and flung it high in pleee of the 5enhomore's donkey. Miss Lessing was our advisor, and several Nreeln parties were given, Plthough were only Freshmen, In our Sophomore your our number fell from twenty to sixteen brt we carried on just the some we hed the honor of being the lest worldly-wise Gloss of the school. We pliund eu important pert in school eetivitles, and our eless was well rep- resented on the bosketbill teen. We were for from being o Hdeadn class that year else and we left the old schoolhouse in May feeling we had e very successful year end hoped for e better one still in our Junior Yoer. So, here we ere. And our hopes are coming truc. Give us e good looking ever, and I'M sure you'll agree that we'er the best eless in seheol. Fourteen entered in the fell but John Beecham soon left for life in the great outdoors. We were then e luchy thirteen in number, but during the second semester Albert McDonald left us, He was honored with Weinie roast thus expressing our farewell to him, The members of our close are very worthy of individuel mention, so I will give to you o little of their greet imnortenee to Pr Hx Sf ' Lois Logue, whom we ell know as 'Shorty' is the class president. It surely takes her te keep the class meetings in order. Next in line is Dorothy Davenport, the HJunior Fiddlern ond we ere eroud of her. She is our vice-president as she was lest I year. Also we have enother Fiddler, Nodine Moore, so you see we :re well blest. She is our Calendar editor for the annual. Another of the girls it Mildred Boyd ,who is lively and makes o good joke editor for the annual. o There is one girl left but es this io personal and embarrassing I will leave it to your opinion what kind of e secretory and trees- urer she makes,--Esther Keizer. We certainly must remember the boys so they are the greatest in number. Alvin Newland is o new student et P. H. S., end we are 'roud that he is o Junior. He certainly proud that He is a Junior. He surely knows his Uonionsn when it comes to being business manager. . , Oy: ennuel editor is Ned Darlington, the boy ' of our-close who is noted for his1eretoricel voice and his efficient w0rx.
