During his years at Peru he has served in that capacity end at the present time is also chairman of the Practical Arts Division. Mr. Larson graduated from high school at Arapahoe. Nebraska and later graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Science Degree In Mechanical Engineer ing. He obtained his Masters Degree from the University of Minnesota and also did graduate work at the University of Nebraska and the University of Chicago. Mr. Larson it ar five in Ktwanis Club work. His favorite pastimes are reading and fishing. Since coming to Peru, Mr. Larson has mode his home near the Campus. The Larson's three children o o graduates of the Peru Training school and are alto graduatei of Peru State Teachers Collage. Nebraska, Missouri, and Illinois. On the second night between halves of the first game before o crowd of some 2200 people, a formal dedication was made when Mr. E. D. CrStos, President of the State Board of Education, presented the gym- t nasium to Peru Stato Teachers College. Merle 'Hoot ' Bauer, Bobcat captain, accepted the gift on behalf of the students, faculty, and alumni. To build the gymnasium it took 15 men 63,180 hours of work over a period of 13 months. 800 yards of concrete were laid, using 3,2+0.000 pounds of cement. 1500 glaxed tile were used on the interior, and 300.000 new bricks plus bricks from the old budding were used on the exterior walls.
