Miss Margaret Henningsen, who dislikes be- ing called ‘ nurse , is teaching two home nurs- ing classes. She likes maple furniture, auto- biographies. novels, and popular music. To her. Grand Canyon is the most impressive—College Nurse. Professor C. A. Huck teaches aeronautics to training school students and was one of Peru s first C.P.T. instructors. Clock-doctors for a hobby and is making a garden tractor. His many radios play opera on Saturday and symphony on Sunday. Victor H. Jindra, one of Peru's musical men. wields baton and violin bow with equal ease. He cuts a striking figure on the bowling alley and reading fiction strikes his fancy. Miss Pearl Kenton is organizing a local em- ployment bureau lor junior and senior training school students She likes travel, symphony, short stories and plays; saw Lynn Fontaine and Alfred Lunt during cornhusking vacation.— Assistant Professor of Foreign Languages. Mrs Emilie Kirk, Assistant Professor of Art, brings out the artistic soul in training school students. She plays the piano and once taught music; is a Czech and proud of it. Dr Selma S Konig says she's indirectly in the Navy since she's taken over Dr. Bradford's English class so he can teach cadets. She miguets'' her French class on May Days and gives parties for all her language students.

Mrs Mary O Delzell has a special interest in China; was a missionary there lor several years. She preceded Miss Gockley as secretary to the president and now keeps books for the college oflice She is the v ife ol former Dean Delzell. Miss Marie Faulhaber connects, tier training school English classes with current events; is a recreational reader She advocates Shakespeare lor high school students and entertains their student teachers at parties and teas.—She is Associate Professor of English Stephen Gaines coaches the Bobkittens. played with the Cats the year they were one of the nation's 25 undefeated teams. He has a set of future football stars. He majored in manual arts Miss Blanche A Gard’s greatest thrill was seeing the American flag over the temporary American embassy after an earthquake in japan. She's very fond of her fox-terrier. “Old-Timer. and read “Little Women twelve times.— Supervisor of first and second grade Miss Elma Gockley. College Bursar, had to figure all those refunds tor departing college-to- service men She does clerical work for the CAR War Training Service Program. She “kinda likes most everything
