Nash Seniors Insist Our A drowning man, waterwings, measles, and two 19 year-old girls on a trip to France con- stituted some ot the laughable instances ot the senior play Our Hearts Were Young and Gay. The comedy was written by Cornelia Otis Skinner in collaboration with Emily Kimbrough. lt centers around a boat trip the girls took to France during their l9th summer. Their main reason tor going to Paris was so Cornelia could take acting lessons from a French comedian. The Pl-lS production starred Kathleen O'Con- nor as Cornelia and Shirley Morgan as her close friend, Emily. Cornelias mother, Maude, was Linda Peters, while Sam Stegrnan played Otis Skinner.
