Tiger Trackmen Take Second Coach Dick Donovans track team had a very line season in compiling a tive won, one lost and one tied record in the regular two-Way meets. The Tigers' one loss came from the hands ot the Rochester Zebras. The Mississinewa-Peru meet also was a thriller with the meet result- ing in a tie. ln the three-way meets the Tigermen took one first place and one second place. They won the three-Way meet at Delphi with Logan placing second and Delphi third. This was the first meet of the season for the trackmen. Hoover, Lantz, Stuber and Robinson. i 1 y f Place in CIC Meet In the CIC meet held here in Peru, the Tigers came in second behind Warsaw with Muncie Burris running third. Larry Durham Won one heat in the 440 yard dash. The Tigers one-hall mile relay team qualified tor the regional meet and won the CIC relay. A trophy which is awarded annually by the school tor the boy who earns the most points during the season was presented to Bill Hill. Bill was also awarded a plaque for scoring the most points in the ClC meet. Showing how to pass the baton are Holland and Westcott. Kneeling: Braun, Engel, Rody and McGrew.
