We tuned in Handys and listened to the Mambo but danced the Frankfort when we went to canteen. The introduction of TV to the canteen helped us keep up with such new personalities as the McGuire sisters, the Crew Cuts, Florian Zabaon, and George Gobel.

But We Rest Along the Way We come from all parts of town and group togetherg in this way, we follow the traditions that make us teenagers as they were and always will be. We are as old-fashioned and yet as modern as crinoline and as changeable as the latest jive. We still wait patiently tor the latest in Mad comic books and then go home to read Hlsittle Women. Our parents and teachers think we are very mixed up until they realize that not too many years ago they did the same things in a different fashion.

Progress ls Evidenf With the introduction of such classes 'is narcotics, commer- cial law, typing, and shop, schoolwork has become less cut and dried. No longer must we learn just the three Hts: a few additions make our curriculum more welleloalanced than that of our parents. Education has progressed to the point that when we enter the world ot graduates, we teel better prepared.
