Some of us will use these skills in a career, others will find them invaluable in the home. Gourmet Cooking, for example, enabled us to expand our basic knowledge of food preparation. Advanced Clothing taught us the basics of clothing design and construction. The classes in Family Living and in Personality and Grooming taught us how to take pride in our appearance and in ,fm Miguelina smiles, thinking, crochet 43, turn, single crochet . . 24 Brian waits for Noel and Nilsa to cook him up a Hamburger Amboy High Style. , 0 ' We Made College And Career Choices Mylie and Gisela discuss college choices with Mr. Muniz. st Mrs. Peterson helping lose with his schedule. We spent much time trying to get into or out of certain classes. Our guidance counselors were not always able to do what we wanted, but they tried to help us with our schedules, with our personal problems and, assisted by the Career Resource Center, with our college and career choices. Our experiences in guidance taught us an important lesson about life. Tinkered, Fixed Cars The various Industrial Arts classes enables us to use machines and tools which were never available to us before. Besides understanding how to use the equipment, we learned the importance of proper shop safety measures and gained respect for the tools of our trade. The high point of the year was our chance to exhibit our our products at the various craft expositions in Middlesex County. We were very proud when we displayed some of the best examples of our work in the front hall for the rest of our students and faculty to see. Larry shows his floor plan to Ralph, John, Marlene and Doug. Chico, Fred and Miguel balance a tire electronically.
