The Senior Class of 1976 presents the Halls of Ivy Volume XXI To Thee, the school we love so well, A swelling song we raise, . Ik 0 Of classroom, field and track we tell The record of our days, And we thy sons and daughters give Our bold and ardent loyalty. To work, to strive, to ever live, ... Perth Amboy High for Thee. Though many years may pass, the way be long, With many a bruising fall, Then faint at first, but growing strong, There rings the clarion class: Arise, fight on for victory Through weak, the goal must still be won; For truth, for right, for honesty, Perth Amboy High leads on! TABLE OF CONTENTS Dedication 3 Seniors 6 Faculty 60 Underclass 80 NS Activities 90 Special Events 1 14 Sports 132 Advertisements 166 DEDICATION 4 Some people ore content to leave things the way they are — never daring to take a chance, never risking to venture forth and challenge in hopes of betterment. Such pursuits are left to people like Michael George. He is always dissatisfied with mediorcrity — always accepting the opportunity to reach greater heights of perfection. Through our four years at Perth Amboy High School we have come to know him as a teacher, adviser, coach, and most importantly, a friend. Therefore, we, the graduating class of 1 976 dedicate our yearbook to Michael George. SENIORS Diane Fingerhut Dorothy Lee Barbara Theophilokas Theresa Abreu Digna I. They soon become engaged in many new activities, consisting of varied organizations, social and academic events, sports and the meeting of fellow classmates. At a football game, basketball game or a class play, freshmen are proud students of P.A.H.S. as they adapt to the spirit of the school. Contemplating the future. Sophomore Class of 1978 A student's Sophomore year is an important one. It is during this year that he becomes most familiar with the school and establishes himself as part of it. It is during this year too, that he or she receives true recognition. Although the sophomores still turn to the upper-classmen for advice and direction, they are now respected by the Freshmen. And I Think About Those People Who Mean So Much To Me And For So Many Years Have Made Me So Very Happy And I Count The Times I Have Forgotten To Say Thank You, And Just How Much I Love Them. Felice Moncini As our years spent in Perth Amboy High School Come to an end — And the days we thought would last forever suddenly cease, We all find ourselves looking back . . . For the first time in our lives we should be looking ahead into the future, but memories keep getting in the way. Four years have come and gone so very fast but the experiences and relationships that have developed during this time will stay with us forever. There have been certain people who have made our days here more enjoyable. Some of these people will continue to be a part of our lives, but for others our final good bye to them will be said today. To our administration, faculty, Mr. James Sattur, and especially the Class of 1976 — ‘ Thank You” for making these memories ones that will be cherished always. Hold on to these memories, because believe it or not, all we have left ore memories.
