Therefore, your every action within the boundaries of the school plant has a definite effect on the larger community, the city in which we live. Your every contribution to the school program is a direct contribution to the city. Your attitude, your behavior, your citizenship in school is reflected in your attitude, behavior, and citizenship in your city. That which you give to and take from your school now will be reflected in later years by what you, as an adult citizen of our city, will give to and expect from your school. His duties are to procure tracts of land for the building of housing developments and private homes.

During this time you have been guided in the development of definite knowledge and skills, in the building of character and integrity, in interpreting your environment, in exploring your individual interests and aptitudes, in growing in your ability to get along with people and in working toward a selected goal. Responsibility for satisfying your educational needs has been shared with the home, the church, community agencies, other professional groups and the community as a whole. It is the earnest desire and sincere wish of the entire faculty that the Class of 58 individually and collectively will continue to develop into effective desirable citizens of the community and as such, will contribute to the education of those who follow.
