Our studies in social science made us realize that we must be active, intelligent contributors to the life of our community and our country. Ancient, modern, and world history gave perspective; American history brought into clear focus the principles and ideals by which we live. Our classes were vitalized by showing of films and by lively discussions of current events. Above all, we learned to respect the obligations imposed upon us as citizens of a free nation, and to treasure the privileges which we shall enioy as future molders of our democracy. Howard E.
