Your teachers have watched you grow from shy, hesitant freshmen into young men and women. You leave Perth Amboy High School in momentous times, with national and world history being made before your very eyes. The days ahead demand your very best, in the words of your motto that you be “First in Action, Best in Ability, and Highest in Virtue”—and it is our fervent hope that you will give only that best in service and in loyalty to your country and to God. Our four-year course gives PAHS students opportunity to further their knowledge of the mother tongue. Projects of many types help growth in writing and speaking. Literature studied in and out of class enriches cultural background and broadens understanding. Elective courses in Journalism furnish practical and enjoyable creative experiences, while those in Speech develop poised speakers. The cheerful Library serves teachers and pupils alike efficiently.
