MUSIC The Mlxed Chorus was composed of forty s1x hxgh school members thls year Mlss Ruth Westermann of Clarlda Iowa d1rected the mus1c groups aga1n th1S year for her fourth year M1ss Westermann was the flrst dlrector of our chorus f1V8 years ago Jo Ann lngwersen a Iunlor th1S year was accompan1st for all mus1c groups .To Ann has been accompamst for the past three years The vocal groups sang for the grade school operetta When Chr1stmas Comes Numbers were presented by the Mlxed Chorus g1r1 s and boy s glee club octette and tr1o A comb1ned band and vocal concert was presented to var1ous mus1c groups at the concert 1nclud1ng some band solos and duets Some of the followlng presented at th1s t1me Delores Champlm and Alta Dee Dunlap Clarlnet Duet De Lores Goshorn Trumpet Solo and Mr Huster dxrector V1o11n Solos The band lead the annual Leg1on Homecomxng parade the 16 and 17 of Septelnber They also held a concert IH the park on the 17 of September Mr Arno Huster of Omaha Nebraska directed the band agaxn thxs year Mr Huster comes to teach band every Monday Mr Hoster also had charge of the tonettes played by grade school people The total number ln the band th1s year was thxrty seven 29 the public on March 21.
