Not only have they established a reputation in their school but also outside at the Rackham Memorial Parent Teacher Association WWJ Green Light Pro gram and the lngleslde Club Each boy IS a fine vocalist with the qualities necessary to provide such outstanding entertainment CLARINET ENSEMBLE Neff to rlghtl Leonard Bartosaewtcz Colombo Centofantl Marlann Rychko Roy Hoenle The Clarinet Quartet is the first of a number of en sembles to be organized from the Bands and Orchestra Many kinds of woodwinds brass and string ensembles will be organized in order to give students an opportunity to become better musicians through participation The clarinet quartet made its first appearance on the Christmas Concert THE GIRLS ENSEMBLE tleft to rrghtl Barbara Wllllams Dawn Porter Marlqulta Sheffield Viv: Anne Miller Virginia Haslec Pat McCarthy Dolores Blelak Bethalee Brunner Nancy Shmn Joan Sherman Miss Engstrom The Girls Ensemble composed of girls who possess outstanding musical talent has lust concluded one of its busiest seasons Under the very able direction of Miss Lyle Engstrom who is also the accompanist this group has sung for many programs and social clubs including the United Engineers of Michigan at the Rackham Building the Ingleside Club and the Green Lights Program in the WWJ studio auditorium The Ensemble also took part in the Christmas Pro gram which was especially successful this year Their last performance ofthe term was at the Sexton High School Debate held in the Pershing library to Chronicle Staff I I F . .
