The comedy-romance, Skidding, by Aurania Rouverol was the delightful play presented by the Senior Class under the skilful direction of Miss Ruth Brady. The story centers about an incident in the life ofthe popular Hardy Family. Judge Hardy's youngest daughter, Marion, and his campaign manager, Oscar Stubbins, are campaigning for the Judge's nomination to the District Court. Wayne Trenton Harold Lane Sally Bynum Thomas Violante Ill, Marion's wealthy fiance, strongly disapproves of her part in politics and their engagement is broken. Finally the Judge, whose fine reputation had im- pressed the voters, is nominated instead to the Supreme Court. Marion, whose interests in poli- tics have not gone unnoticed, is nominated to the State Legislature. After this and the unexpected situations of Marion's older sisters, she and the reformed Wayne become reconciled.
