Mr. Frank lsbev, chairman ot the Michigan War Finance Committee, addressed a rally ot students during the Sixth War Loan. We purchased War Savings Stamps totaling Sl80,000. Arthur Tomala brought a bag con- taining 5,l00 pennies to purchase War Bonds in one ot the campaigns. Students collected 83 tons ot waste paper during the War period. Students and taculty members con- tributed S8000 to the Community War Chest. The same group gave 37,670 to the Red Cross in addition to sending hundreds ot service boxes to men in the Armed Forces and to children in devastated countries.
