The mem- bers saw movies of Mexico, which were taken by Miss Corns, Guest speakers from Mackenzie provided e d u c a - tional lectures and s howed movies on Greece, Conductors of the meetings were Margaret Naumoft, Prin- cepsg Violet Dreshune, Prin- ceps Alternesg Thelma Louns- berry, S c r i b ag and Dorothy Myhenck, Censor. Spanish Club Under the guidance of Mrs. M, Drevdahl, the members of the Spanish Club have accom- plished numerous fe t e s this past term. The most success- tul is believed to be the out- standing displays ot Mexican and Spanish novelties in the show cases on the first floor. The club has frequently been honored by the visits of distinguished guests, such as native S p a n is h and Latin American speakers. From time to time, they have been enter- tained with pictures ot Mexico and sound recordings, The office rs are Ruth M a t h e s, president, Virginia C o g o t a, vice-president, and l-lenry Rogalski, treasurer. French Club Miss M i I d re d Maloney, sponsor ot the French Club, has stated that new recruits are always welcome in the club, lt is under the direction ot Patricia Young, presiclentg Margaret Q u i n n, vice-presi- dentg and M a r i a n Shimkey, secretary-treasurer. lt is the hope of the club to learn the history of the French people and to make the French language a little more popular in school,
