Our Superintendent Mr. Gilbert Mize, Perryton Schools superintendent, interprets the schools to the Board of Education and the Board ' s plans to the schools. Mr. Mize is in charge of overall planning for the schools, updating instructional plans, and selecting personnel. Mr. Mize served as chairman of a sectional group meeting at the Mid-Winter Conference during January of this year, and serves as an executive member of the Texas School of Administrators. He be- came superintendent of the Perryton Schools in 1948 and has served our schools since that time. Receiving a B. A. from Sul Ross College and a M. A. from Texas Tech. , Mr. Mize is highly qualified as the leader of our schools We, the students of Perryton Schools, appreciate the fine work he has done to make our great school what it is. MR.
