Favorite sounds of music around P. H. S. come from the High School Stage Band. Mr. Tom Knightion directs this group which has won first place ratings at both Canyon and Amarillo. Their performances are high- lighted by their vocalist, Jeannie Huston. A familiar sight to students is the Lecture Look of Mr. Zoller seen giving a lecture following a school assembly. The West Texas State Choir starts off the Christmas season by presenting P. H. One highlight of each year Is the presentation of the Senior Play. As practice began, lines of Blythe Spirit were heard through the school. Performance night found Madam Arcarti ready to communicate with the mystic beyond causing chaos in the Condomine household. Charles Condomine ' s first wife, Elvira, came to live with him and while there became desirous that they be spiritually reunited. While trying to kill Charles, she accidently killed his second wife, Ruth, who materialized while Madam Arcarti was trying to dematerialize Elvira. Cli- maxing the play, Edith, the maid, was found to be a natural and through her help the two Mrs. Condomines were sent back to the other side. When all was over the Seniors were exuberant but a little saddened because another event of their year had come to an end. Ticket sales began early for Blythe Spirit Let me go, I ' ll send them back.
