35 5 SENIUR CLASS HISTORY On September 1, l933, an extraordinarily green group of students embarked on their high school careers. We were so dumb that we thought we knew it all. Mr. Kelly soon changed our .t-- mind, though, when he introduced algebra to us. graduated from Junior High School that year, a group of brilliant looking prospects. Perhaps the prospects weren't so good as they looked: at any rate, upon entering Senior High School we found that Juniors, and Seniors cared very little about what Sophomores thought. With the sponsorship of Miss Roberta Hutchison we showed the fair upper classmen that these Soph omores amounted to something, even though the - usual run of them d1dn't. Then, when we started to school in 19355 we were what people call Juniors. Seniors recog- nized us then, and we felt almost as dignified then as we do naw. Imogene Howlett, one of our Junior girls, won the Lusher medal, a prize highly coveted.. And now as the closd of this school year is drawing nigh and approximately sixty boys and gir are preparing to leave '0l P.H.S.,'.we realize that it has been through the tireless efforts of our instructors and parents, that we are partly equipped for the sea of life, We, as the Senior class, wish to express our gratitude to all who are helping and have helped to make this graduation possible. .J ' L we X!
