CLASS HISTORY On September l 1946 f1fty four of us enrolled as freshmen at Perrysv1lle Hlgh School Slnce that day we have spent many happy hours together worklng and playmg Our class off1cers durmg the freshman year were Delorxs Stoup pres1dent Mar c1a Heldrxck v1ce presldent and Wayne Shaw secretary and treasurer Mrs Moore was selected as our sponsor In September 1947 forty elght of us became sophomores We had lost s1x mem bers Elsle Plunkett Loretta Perry Bayard Nearpass Paul Jones Harold Auter and Wayne Anderson The class offlcers WBFSMSIVIH Dunham presxdent James Crowder v1ce presldent and Murray Jones secretary and treasurer Mr Brown was our sponsor Thlrty mne of us enrolled as Junxors 1n 1948 Our class offlcers were as follows Marcla Heldrlck presldent Ellzabeth Jack Mrs Coleman and Mr Huffman Th1s year we presented a play Take It Easy and entertalned the Semors w1th a Jumor Semor Receptxon at Attlca Our last year of school has fxnally arrlved and we f1nd ourselves the Semors of 1949 1950 of Perrysvllle H1gh There are thlrty flve of us to graduate We lost sev eral members from our Jun1or year but we have welcomed two new members thls year Samuel Shookman and Gordon Moore Our class off1cers are Wayne Shaw pres1dent Ellzabeth Jackson v1ce presldent and Dorothy Callahan secretary and treasurer Mr Myers and Mr Huffman are our class sponsors For our class flower we have chosen the red rose and our class colors are blue and whlte Our motto 15 Don t equal lt better lt Each year another class must part and now lt 1S our t1me to say Farewell class mates ' 1 1 - ' . n , ' . . , I ' . - ' 5 , . . 1 1 - . - .
