The high-school years that previously we had looked forward to with so much anticipa- tion have come and gone even more quickly than we could ever have imagined. Our Fresh- man year started out actively with the help of our leaders, Al Lehman, president, Ron Jones, vice-president, Diana Marsh, secretary, and Rose Spilker, treasurer. We took advantage of our enthusiasm by holding a bake sale, class party in January, and a class picnic in May. During the following Sophomore year, under the leadership of Mike Mather as president, Jack Coble as vice-president, Barb Lehman as secretary, and Al Lehman as treasurer, we un- dertook two big projects in particular - a very successful Fish Dinner in November, and our New York trip in April. In addition to the projects, we established for the first time in the history of the school, the traditional class ring, and consequently received them earlier than usual - in the beginning of our Junior year. Again in 1956, under the leadership of Mike Mather as president, and our other new officers, Ken Vajen, vice-president, Judy Whitmore, secretary, and Dave Fredrick, treasurer, we l found ourselves involved in a heavy schedule. In order to finance the J unior-Senior Prom, we sponsored a talent show and a record-hop. To wish the Seniors their last goodbyes , we pre- sented to them a farewell convocation, and then concluded our last year as underclassmen with a class picnic. It was almost impossible to realize in the fall of 1957 that we had reached one of the extreme- ly important and memorable steps in our lives- our Senior year. With the support of our spon- sors, Miss Bailey, Mr. Braund, and Miss Reuth- inger, and our officers, President Harold Eckle, Vice-president Jack Coble, Secretary Kay Law- rence, and Treasurer Al Lehman, we managed to carry along very well our reputation as a 'busy, responsible class by presenting the Christmas Dance, and taking our second class trip, only this time to Washington. We realize now that high-school is perhaps one of the most difficult periods in our lives, but was also one of the best-loved and happiest ones, We have enjoyed ourselves, but have learned many important lessons. We now look toward the future. Flower Color Motto Forget-me-not Silver and Blue To strive, to seek, to find, and not o yie 21 t ' ld.
