ROBERT PIERSON Mr. Pierson came to Perrysburg High School in l956. Before coming here, Mr. Pierson received his B. S. in Education, and M.A. at Ohio State Uni- versity. He also attended the University of Wisconsin. Mr. Pierson is presently working toward his Ph.D. Immediately preceding his coming to Perrys- burg, Mr. Pierson was research assistant at the Ohio Cooperative Program in Educational Ad- ministration, Ohio Stote University, for two years.

. .. mmmzrn urmnwas ' The l957 Black and Gold staff dedicates their book to Mr. Donald lDocl Canfield for the understanding and help he has given to the whole school body in both personal and academic problems, for his directing the senior class play, for the guidance he has given us seniors in choosing careers, and in particular, for his overall gay and warmhearted spirit with which he greets each and everyone of us at Perrysburg High School. We believe that dedicating our yearbook to you, Mr. Canfield, is just one small way of saying thank you for all of these things.

I MR. 0. C. TREECE Mr. Treece is acting Principal of the Junior High. Besides his other important duties, Mr. Treece still finds time to teach an algebra class. Mr. Treece earned his B.S. at Bowling Green State University. He also did advanced graduate work at Columbia and Ohio State University. MR. REX MURPHY This is Mr. Rex Murphy's first year as principal of Perrysburg High School. He earned his B. S. at Kent State University, M. A. at Western Reserve University, and is cur- rently working toward his Ph.D. at Western Reserve. Besides being principal, Mr. Murphy has worked to his fullest capacity for the benefit of the students. Since this is his first year here we know that he will continue to work for the betterment of our school. -,gf I?
