Dedication The staff of the 1978 Perry High School Treasure Chest chose to dedicate their REFLECTIONS edition to Mrs. Mable Dort. As a teacher’s aide, study hall monitor, and most of all, a dear friend, you have made the school a more enjoyable place to work and sometimes to relax. When the chips were down and there seemed to be no hope in sight, you were the one that came through and made a success of things. If we were to start here and begin to thank you for all the things that you have shared in your years with us, we would simply need another book to accomplish it. Therefore, we chose only a few to reflect upon. We thank you for the love, patience, and understanding you have shown us, for the many times that you have gone out of your way to help us, for letting us share in your knowledge and wisdom, and for rekindling the flames of school spirit and pride. We wish you a happy and full retirement. Although this may sound like a farewell, it is not; for we look ahead to your future visits to P.H.S. as our honored guest. 3
