rdkPatroIman Charles Gustatsoi Fletcher Air. Mallory . Rex ford. Danny Mrs. Wade . . . “Wonderful Town” On April 27 and 29, the music department presented their annual musical. This year’s production, WONDERFUL TOWN was directed by Mr. Charles Swogger. Student Director was Ginny Dilly who was assisted by Darlene Wharram. The musical was based on the life of Ruth and Eileen Sherwood. The story followed the girls’ adventures from Columbus, Ohio to Greenwich Village, New York. Ruth Sherwood, who was portrayed by Julie West, had an ambition to become a famous journalist. Her sister Eileen, played by Becky Jaborsky, decided to become an actress. In the final scene Ruth fell in love with Mr. Baker, (Jamie Peterson) the editor of a New York newspaper. Also, Eileen found true love with Chick Clark, a news reporter played by Larry Snyder. Every musical leaves those involved with many good and bad memories. Long hours of practice always seems to draw people closer together into one family. Anyone who has been involved in a Perry High School production knows that, in the end, it is all worthwhile. CAST Ol CHARACTERS Appopolous . Inebriates ... .A Fskimo Pic Man . . Robert Baker . .4.
