They have sponsored a very fine dance and should receive much credit for sponsoring the Red Cross drive. In the study hall which is their home room they have worked steadfastly and heartily decorating the blackboards with illustrations from the books, The Shadow of the Pine and The Secret Garden. EIGHTH GRADE The eighth grade has been striving all year to be first in anything that is of a competitive nature, and have done so in almost everything. They have received a globe for having the highest percentage of parents in the P.T.A.; they were the first class to attain their stamp and bond goal, and they have contributed the most to the Junior Red Cross.
