Joe Dunlap—Make way for Joe, the mathematical mastermind. He's planning to become an electronic research engineer, whatever that might be. Most of us don't aspire this high, but Joe can do it. We'll find him sitting calmly at the top of the heap some day. Geneva Van Dyke—Geneva wants to follow along in the nursing line. With her quiet, soothing ways, we believe she'll be a good influence on her patients—which is something we won't say for some of the students of P. H. S. Betty Freiberger—Betty hopes to be a secretary some day. You needn't worry about her, either. She's really going to be one. This girl will laugh her way up the ladder of success. Paul Golding—Paul's dream is of owning his own farm. None of this fancy stuff for him. He believes that being a good all-around farmer is the best job in the world. We predict that he'll be an outstanding farm leader in Perry a few years from now. Gerry Haas—Gerry is another one of these future secretaries. Her marvelous efficiency in shorthand foretells her success in this field. We ought to know. Who always transcribes out shorthand for us?

PROPHECY Ruth Averill—Ruth's ambition is to be an angel of mercy. She's going to be a nurse, and you can bet that she'll be a good one, too. We're expecting all her men patients to propose to her. Be sure to catch a rich one, Ruth. George Bartlett—George's idea for the future is to be an engineer. He thinks that he could have a lot of fun trying to figure out some brand new kind of airplane. We're sure he can do it, too. Muriel Brooks—Muriel's planning to attend Ohio State next year. She's not quite sure what she'll do in the future, but it will be something along the medical line. The only thing that worries her is college chemistry. Betty Burt—Betty's heading for the cosmetology business. You just wait and see—she'll own her own beauty shop some day. We can picture it in our mind's eye. Burt's Elite Super-Deluxe Beauty Salon —only $90 a treatment. Bob Carter—Bob's dreams for the future center around being an aeronautical engineer. He thinks it's up and coming thing of the future, so he's going to up and come right with it. We wouldn't be a bit surprised if he invented a rocket plane to the moon.

Emma Jabs—This girl is planning to be another Florence Nightingale. Not only that, but Emma's really going places in her career. She plans to specialize in surgery, and if the zealous way she sliced up those poor animals in biology lab is any indication, she'll succeed without any trouble at all. Neva Johnson—Neva is our musically-minded girl. It has always been her ambition to teach music. We can already see her trying to teach some tone-deaf high school freshman how to play a clarinet. George Kucera—The Marines is George's shining goal. His great ambition is to be a pilot in the Marine Air Corps. Good luck, George. You'll be one of our toughest Leathernecks in the near future. Charles Neu—Charlie's going to be a farmer, too. Not only that, but he intends to be an A-l farmer. We're just waiitng to see how he's going to grow more potatoes on one acre of land than anybody ever did before. Charles Oliver—College training for industrial management in Charle's streamlined goal. We predict a rosy future for him as a successful business man. We can just picture him sitting on a comfortable chair with his feet propped up on the desk, behind a door with beautiful gold letters on it—Charles Oliver—General Manager— Whifflebottom Whistle Works.
