They had a strong combina- tion of Juniors and Seniors that both produced 8- 1 JV records. They opened the season with al- ways tough New Lothrup. The Ramblers wound up on the top of a hard fought battle with an 18- 15 win. The Ramblers next game was with Leslie. They played hard but came up a little short los- ing 14-7. Leslie went to an undefeated season and made the state semi-finals. The Ramblers then went on a tear, winning six of their last seven games and five in a row. They wound up in second place with a 7-2 record and defeated two other league champs, New Lothrup and Byron, in the process. This team sported the best record since 1972 and ranks as one of the top five in school history. Greg and Mike rejoice after a Rambler big play.
