The first day of school! I only had one thing going for me. I was a SENIOR! Those words are still hard to believe. I mean, we still sit where the seniors sit in the pep rallies. We are treated somewhat better, but, the swollen heads of actually being SENIORS have prevented us from noticing the minor “casualties” that high school is so fam- ous for. Nobody, nowhere, can tell us anything! We’re seniors! We know it all. However, next year it starts all over. We’ll have to work our way back up the ladder of respect. We really have a lot of learning and maturing to do, but, you couldn’t make any of us believe that. Like I said, “WE ARE SENIORS.” The times are hard. The memories are GREAT. We’ll take it ALL!
