Independent Indy Participating in the program were Donna Brewer, Frank Cosentino, Celeste Crowl, ,lannet Garret, Marilyn Goodall, Ed Jones, ,lohn Kross, Tim Miller, Randy Miller, ,loan Roth, Larry Seward, Dave Shep- pard, and Pat Witmer. The program was, for some of the students, ex- asperating, frustrating, befuddling, and confusing, but all admit that the experience was rewarding and educational. The program fullfilled its objectives. TOP TEN STUDENTS On pages 28, 29, 30, and 31 are pictured the top ten students in Perry High Schoolg some of them participated in the independent study program. How- ever, all of Perry's top ten seniors participated in advanced courses sometime during their high school careers. Because of the extra credit given for these courses, it was possible for the students to acquire higher than the normal maximum 4.0 averageg it is for this reason that Dave Sheppard and Ed Jones received 4-.0 plus averages. TOP: Celeste Crowl and Donna Brewer, independent studiers renew an old friendship in the card catalogue This 15 phase one finding references. BOTTOM: Phase two in writing a term paper is gathering information Here Ed Jones Randy Miller Larry Seward, and Pat Witmer are doing just that.
