The staff consists of twenty-one students and is directed by Miss Whitten. The staff strives harder each year in order to produce bigger and better yearbook. This year THE PILLAR has a hard back cover for the time. Student Council The Student Council of Perry Central is the school's way of student government sponsored by Mr. Callon. Election of the president and vice-presi- dent are conducted with spirited campaigns each spring. Other members, elected by homeroorns, bring complaints and suggestions to the council. Social Studies Club The purpose of the Social Studies Club is to broaden the field of interest of social studies students and to further their academic achievement. The students have had an opportunity to exhibit leadership and conduct independent research. The club visited the State Legislature to observe governmental practices first hand.
