P.C. Band and ajorettes arch Enthusiastically The Symphonic Band is composed of the more advanced instrumentalist. Throughout the year they provide music for convocation, add color to the basketball games, march at football games, contricute to the annual spring concert, participate in solo and ensemble contest, and exchange concerts with another school. The op- portunity to play in the band gives students a well rounded experience in musicianship and a chance to use their talents. Mr. Iverson is the director. Perry Central Takes Pride in This Years rchestra The membership of the orchestra is made up of all string players and selected wind and percussion players from the Symphonic Band. During the year the orchestra is busy preparing for both the Thanksgiving and Christmas programs, playing at various other concerts, providing concerts for several elementary schools, contributing to the spring concert and participating in the solo and ensemble contest. The officers are: Captain, Ruthellen Stegemillerg First Lieutenant, Debbie Riley, Second Lieutenant, Anne Hensley, Master Sergeant, Dan I-Iiggensg Technical Sergeant, Jeff Nay, First Sergeant, Midge Kisslingg Second Sergeant, Elden Hartman.
