Learning To Be a Better Family Member s The Beginning Home Economics Club sponsored by Mrs. Whalen offers seventh grade girls a chance to acquire an interest in the field of home economics. Some of the activities planned during the year were the making of Christmas candy or cookies and a film on outdoor cooking. The Home Economics Club sponsored by Mrs. Leinin- ger, provides its members with the opportunity of developing skills and exploring ways to become a better family member. Some projects include a panel discussion, an outside speaker in related areas and numerous demonstrations. Officers for the year were: president, Mike McDonald5 vice-president, Paula Differdingg and secretary-treasurer, Jane Emerson.

Beginning Chess and Chess Teach New Skills 'Sf Brains unite to begin to master the art of playing Mr. Metheny, as sponsor of the Chess Club, promotes chess as the Beginning Chess Club plays a new role in the enjoyment of chess to its members. Team cap- Perry Central's organizations. Mr. I-lull leads the tains of the club are Ted Wacker, Steve Boeke, jerry group as sponsor. Romjue, Candy McCarthy, Bob Whiffing, and Barry Kress.
