in ur School The traffic patrol helped promote safety and directed traffic for after school functions. Mr. Smith was in charge of the traffic patrol and worked along with these boys. The office girls work with Mrs. Dickey to help with the secretarial work, such as making out the absentee lists, answering the telephone, and running errands. Other girls worked along with Mr. Metheny, Mr. Banks, and Mr. Springer in the guidance office. They helped with keeping the records of the students' academic work. Both these groups worked during their study halls. 37

Student Helpers The projectionists and student librarians worked very close together to aid our school. The projec- tionists, headed by Mr. Hilfiker, showed films and other visual aids during their study halls. The student librarians, chosen by Mrs, Hammer, check out books and help students find materials to use in reports and other special assignments.

Convocations Are Bright Spots in ur School Da Shoppers make a mad dash for sale items in a scene from the Christmas play. jim Yeager and Gary Martlage peddled fast to win the trikathon. The ninth grade mixed choir, directed by Mr. Burris, entertain the student body at the Christmas convocation. Mme. Silvercruys transformed her hunk of clay into an excellent model of Susie Williams. 38
