CLASS PRUIPHIECY As we turn the key and open the door to the future, we are very anxious to see what tricks fate has played on the Senior Graduates of '58. We are relieved to find that they made much progress toward reaching the top and bring the greatest success they have long dreamed about. The first Senior graduate we see is JERRY DICKENSON, one of the greatest movie stars in Hollywood. He is now the current heart-throb of the Bobby Soxers. As we look further into the future, we see JOYCE BAKER as she is coaching her famous basketball team, the Women's Harlem Globe Trotters. The great lover, ROYCE BAKER, has just married for his thirteenth time. He says this will probably be his unlucky marriageg it will last. Next we see LINDA HOOTEN who has finally hooked her man, Roger, and is very happily keeping house for him. She must be a natural born flirt, because she still smiles at all the men. BOBBY HENSLEY has just been promoted President of General Motors. We see that he invented a self-propelled electric car. He always was a brain at mechanics. The next Senior graduate we see is MARY EVA GILMORE, flirting with all the pa- tients fmale, of coursej. She plans to marry one of the interns very soon and she and her husband will be working side by side. JIMMY LYONS is making very good pay. We see that he has made Five Star Admiral of the United States Navy after being marooned on an unknown island for five years. Very surprisingly, we see VIDA TUCKER as the most eligible old maid in the lonely hearts club, but strange- ly enough she still pines for her first real love, George. OWEN LYON seems to have become the most successful of our class. We see that he is following in the footsteps of Sir Boss Tweed as the second most powerful Mayor of New York City. As we look toward Fort Worth, we see MELBA FARMER struggling deligently to keep her five children and a one room apartment looking at least decent for Howard when he comes home. We find JIMMY HILL still searching for his millionaire wife but we can be assured that when he does find her, he will propose a law prohibiting married women the right to speak to males other than their husbands. Later on we see IRENE BARNETT 35 she has finally reached her lifetime ambition. She found Dewey a wife. Last but not least, Irene has made her own dream come true. As editor of the Whitt Daily Times, she and her family have successfully published two complete papers. DON ALCORN has succeeded in his only hope for life. The governor has just appointed him to be the most common bum that the United States has ever been blest with and proclaimedhim to be a confirmed bachelor for the rest of his life. Finally, we see WILLIE DODSON as he and his wife have just returned to earth after presenting his son, William Van Ducus Enstein Dodson Il to the President of Sputnik. This could have never been done, of course, if Willie hadn't made the first space voyage. Although we haven't grown much older, we feel that we have accomplished quite a bit.
