BIOLOGY CLUB wa 2-63' The Biology Club had a more active membership this year than previously. They were involved in several activities. Among them were resource speakers at meet- ings, an annual contribution to the library for the purchase of a set of encyclopedias of the Animal King- dom, and participation in the Regional Science Fair at ECU in Greenville. Officers of the club are: President - Linda Overton, Vice-President - Michael Bullard, Secretary - Cathy Wells, Assistant Secretary - Helaine jones, Sargeant at Arms - Nathan Carson, Historian - Rene Bowser, and Reporter - George Perry. CHORUS lt seems that the chorus at PCI-lS gets better and better each year. The chorus presented a Christmas program featuring sacred and secular music to the public and also to students at Union School and PCHS. lt provided a refreshing break for students from the regular routine of classes. Students were Walter Overton and Wendy Walton perform for the student body. 140 Chorus fortunate enough to hear some outstanding specials from soloists and other groups. They also per- formed at graduation, presented a Spring Concert, and participated in the Arts Festival. The chorus is directed by Mrs. Lavezzo. Lyn Winslow is the pianist for the choms.
