Again we are fast approaching the season of another graduation at Perkiomen School. This will be the fourth such affair in which your present Headmaster has participated since his arrival four years ago. Much has been accomplished here at the school in that time. ln a material way the living conditions of our students have been much improved, which is important, but more than that -- our selective policy has brought to our campus students with potential qualities which would reflect credit upon any institution. Therefore, it is natural that this graduating class, possessing more potential power, is better equipped and prepared to assume leadership positions in a world that is crying for men of vision. You are now entering a new age - so different from past eras A with people and nations in a confused state of mind, and in control of forces that can destroy our civilization overnight. lt will take wise men to manipulate this power and to channel its resources into areas that will benefit the whole human race. You now will inherit the responsibility. lt can be used for great good - or it can become the evil of our time. May your God give you wisdom to direct your thinking in this new world so that man may live to fulfill his destiny. We hope that Perkiomen has been a help in preparing you for this great and important work. xx.
