Mlchelle Gagnon waits for her cue. April 28, 1985, is the date on which Perkins High School held its annual Fine Arts Festival. The school was open to the public from 3-8 pm. All those involved donated much time and effort towards the preparation of this event. The Perkins Bands performed in the gymnasium. The songs performed were ear-Catching, perfected, and iced with the sound that only the PHS band can deliver. Each band member put forth his or her best effort to present a great show. Art projects along with projects from the Home-Ec and Industrial Arts department filled the old primary cafeteria and the auxilliary gym. Accomplishments of students from grades K-12 were on display. Renouned art crlllc looks over the display. Something from the petrified forest, maybe? Unbellevecblel ll's movlngl says a fascinated Mom. Acryllc palnllngs were among the art items on display. All Three shows were presenTed on The weekend of May 3-5. The sTory cenTers around Maria Reiner and her love for The capfain Von Trapp and his children. The ploT Thickens as The Nazis Try To Take over, buT The Von Trapps are unwilling To go and flee, along wiTh Maria, over The mounTain and inTo SwiTzerland. They succeed and are free from The Nazis. Music is Then sung from all in greaT happiness.
