Professor: There was a track meet where the school parking lot is now. I called an event and one of the runners, V... preparing to run, pulled down his sweats. Unfortunately, he had no shorts underneath them. ,-A Doc: When the high school first began, there was a big meeting with all the new faculty and administration. One of ...I the speakers was caught off guard with his zipper down. I.-I Mrs. K: One day I wore a blue shoe on one foot and a black shoe on the other. I didn't even notice! ,....., Q: What are some of your fondest memories? ,-Q, Professor: I have fond memories of winning the NHS Teacher Award and having the first Quadrant dedicated to Miss ,-... Hanley and me. I also have special memories of the first graduating class as I taught all those students four consecutive kd, years. t .... Doc: I remember a very sincere mother who wanted to enroll two girls in the ninth grade. Because I am a biology teacher, the woman told me she wanted me to 'learn them girls about their innards'. I-H Mrs. K: I have fond memories of all the nice teachers and students I have met over the years. ,Al Q: What is an unusual thing that has happened while you have been at Perkins? ,Y--Q, Professor: One year there was a bomb scare. The students were sent home and the teachers were left to look for ,L-,, the bomb! ... Doc: 'tThere was a student hit by a freight train in gym class. Neither the train nor the student was hurt.
