Green PIRATES CAPTURE 3RD PLACE IN SBC Coach Pat Riley The boys' varsity basketball team had 'ci winning season this year with 42 wins and 9 losses. Tony Green and Gary Castle were the captains of this year's team and led the Pirates to a third place finish in the SBC. Earning the most valuable player award this year was senior Paul Moore and the MIP was Mark Fry. Fry also was an honor- able mention pick in the SBC. In his first year at Perkins, Moore received many honors. The list includes first team North West Ohio, Second team all-SBC, Honorable Mention in the sixth district, third team all-Ohio Cassociated pressj, and Honorable Mention all-Ohio CUPD. Green also received an honorable men- tion in the sixth district and was placed on the second team all-SBC.
