TOP TE FRE HME DIANA DUMAS of division 825 describes her freshman year as hectic, educational, and social. She describes Julian as crowded, helpful, and adventurous. Diana didn't think she would be in the top ten, but it was one of her goals. Diana chose to attend Julain H.S. because of the strong academic and interesting extracurricular pro- grams. LATANYA JENNINGS of division 8l2 thinks to make good grades you must have good study habits. She describes her freshman year as diffi- cult and exciting. She wanted to be in the top ten, but she didn't think she would be able to do it. Latanya says being in high school means tak- ing another step up the educational ladder. CARLA NORFLEET of division 83l feels that high school is easier than grammar school because there is more freedom. Carla describes her freshman year as challenging. very social, and exciting, Her future goal is to become a psychol- ogist. Carla didn't think she would be in the top ten, but she knew she would be hitting the books. ARLENE STEPHENS of division 835 describes her freshman year as educational and exciting. She believes she will be successful in whatever she does. To Arlene being a freshman means being a beginner. She said she didn't have the slightest idea she would be in the top ten. but she wanted to do well. MINA WELLS of division 825 has realized that high school requires more responsibilities at one time, and that one must work hard to be on top. Mina describes her freshman year as exciting. enjoyable, and educational. Mina said she didn't expect to be in the top ten. but she knew she would be in the top twenty. FRE SHMEM ANDREA FRAZIER of division 826 came to Julian because she wanted a good educa- tion. She describes her freshmen year as exciting and fun. Andrea didn't think she would be in the top ten, but she said she always strives for the best. Andrea's goals for the future are to become a com- puter analyst and to work with many dif- ferent computers. RAOUEL McGILL of division 825 decided to attend Julian because the Staff is the best in the city. She describes her fresh- man year as terrifying, fun, and full of educational experiences. She describes Julian H.S. as big, crowded, and friendly. Being a freshman means she has one more goal to achieve. NICOLE PORTIS of division 83l has learned since being in high school not to be dependent on others and to strive for the best. She describes her freshman year as different, mellow and stupendous. Nicole did not really know she would be in the top ten. but she had a feeling she would rank high. DEMITRICE TURNER of division 834 de- scribes her freshman year as beneficial, challenging, and rewarding. To Demitrice Julian H.S. is exciting, and full of spirit. Her goals for the future are to finish high school with honors, go to college, and major in accounting. To Demitrice being a freshman means starting over with a new goal to achieve. ANGELA WILLIAMS of division SIS be- lieves in working hard and keeping up with her lessons. She describes her fresh- man year as fun and challenging. Angela describes Julian as exciting and busy. She said she felt she would be in the top ten because she works hard at whatever she does.
