THE JAGUA S MARCH Our homecoming parade, the marking of a IO year celebration, was organized by our Student Council sponsor, Mrs. Allen. Mrs. Allen says that organizing the homecoming parade comes with a lot of nerve racking pressure, but she manages to deal with the pressure each year. This year she was assisted by the Student Council officers and representatives, but her most trustworthy and dependable helpers were Merle Kimbrough and Kenneth Jordan. Merle and Kenneth are already looking forward to organizing the l985-86 homecoming festivities. Merle explained that as an elected Student Council officer, she is required to assist with festivities. They enjoy the job even though it is laborious. Kenneth and Merle have learned a lot about organizing activities from Mrs. Allen. They agree she is aibit old fashion, but open minded and a great person. 3, Discussing the starting of the TOWARD parade. Left: Mr. Brister, Miss Braggs, and Mrs. Allen. Q 17, F177 . , 1. f, . rf . THE BE UTIFUL Jaguars ln Hollywood VAL Our foyers and corridors were transformed into a Hollywood setting for our Homecoming Dance, The Beautiful Ones. This transforma- tion was made by various Student Council members. One Student Council committee chairperson stated that many preparations had to be made for the dance to be successful. Therefore, committees were organized: Deco- rations Committee, Coat Check. Ticket Collec- tion Committee, and Refreshment Committee. Attendance was superb and everyone enjoyed a memorable Homecoming thanks to the Stu- dent Council. Let me go, sir. Center: Alan Bradley and Angella Robertson. date. Glass.
