THE CHEERLEADERS HEERI GI WH T The P.L.J. Cheerleaders lead the cheers with bright smiles at football games, basketball games and pep ral- lies. The Percy L. Julian cheer team is not all fun and games, in fact if you ask captain Beddar Squire, she will tell you this sport is a lot of hard work. During the summer, the squad attend- ed the Western Illinois University Cheerleading Camp. They returned with new dances, cheers, chants and a closer relationship. This pepped-up spirit should be remembered and passed down through the years. The sponsor, Mrs. Melvina Cambric enioys 5 working with the squad and is looking forward to the next generation.
