PEQUEA' FUTURE F The junior and Senior classes have a computer similation program in which they change the program of a model farm according to their interests and according to the man- ner in which they conceive that the farm would be Wbrked at its most effectual level. The students are helpinga doctoral candidate with his thesis by doing this research proj- ect. Bob Wanner competed against twenty-four other boys in the Na- tional Livestock Showmanship Con- test. Bob had no intentions of enter- ing the contest, until the individual who was to represent the state of New Mexico failed to present him- self at the contest. At the urging of Mr. I-Iorchler, Bob entered the con- test and Won the first place prize. The chapter officers are: jim Esbenshade, sec- rctaryg Bob Wanner, prcsidentg Art Bomberger, vice-prcsidentg Wendel Ranck, chaplaing Paul Clark, treasurerg Ross Wanner, reporter. Doris Howe moderated a successful panel discussion on the Generation Gap as Evelyn Huyett represented the younger generation. The future homemakers made Christmas candles as a money- making project. They served as waitresses for banquets . Also spon- sored by the FHA were the annual Cherry Pie Contest and Mother- Daughter Tea.
