Janet Ellis was named Teen of the Week in the Lancaster newspapers in November. Janet was se- lected for this honor by the faculty on the basis of her many activities, her high scholastic record, and general attitude for learning. She has represented Pequea in district and state orchestra festivals as well as county and district band events. Janet will attend Westmin- ster College in the Fall, studying secondary teaching. In the fall of the year Alice Lynne Watson was crowned Pequea Valley's 1966 Homecoming Queen. This year Alice Lynne was very active in activities such as band, chorus, dramatics, and hockey. She was selected on the basis oi character, beauty, and friendliness. Each year the Daughters ofthe American Rev- olution present an award to the outstanding g00d citizen in the senior class. This year's reCiPi?Ut was Joan Smoker. Joan is in the Commercial course, and will study business administration at Shippensburg State College in the Fall.
