Foreword To the Reader: The sixth graduating class of the Pequea Valley Joint High School presents the annual edition of the Pequoian. Since the future is built upon the founda- tion of the past and since the class has chosen as a motto - - We are the futureg the future is ours - -, the theme of the book is abstract in nature. Appreciation We, the class of 1960, wish to express our sincere gratitude to all who have made possible this edition of the Pequoian. We especially thank Mr. Robert Denlinger, our year- book advisor, for his advice and assistance. We extend thanks to the administration and the faculty for their co-operation. To Mr. Russell Shelly and Mr. Harold McKinny, our photographers, and to Mr. Harvey Ensinger, our printer, we also express our appreciation.
