ESHELMAN rincipaias Message - 1957-58 Mcmbei's of the Class of 58, I salute you. it is always a challenge and a real pleasure to give a parting message to a group of seniors who are about to graduate and enter the various avenues of life. lt is our earnest hope and desire that we have been able to kindle in you and equip you with some little spark of interest and desire which will bring out the very best that is within you. It has been said America is safe and will be successful if the product of her schools has Reason Morality, Justice, and Character indeiibiy stamped upon it. Then the quality of your information dei termines the quality and quantity of your thinking, your thinking determines your decisions, your decisions determine your actions, and your actions determine your destiny. You may be missing your goal by only a hair's breadth. You who are eager to get more out of life, to become better fitted for lifes battles, to be keener mentally, to have unfaihng faith to accomplish more, d 'f 'Il' t k d I 0 and to have the will to make your dreams come true, can succee 1 you are wi ing o wor an app y y ur- seives to the task at hand. This is the parable of the talents. The one essential thing about you is your capacity to improveg you can only improve as you learn and follow the natural law of growth. Trained minds and trained characters win in everythingg there- f0re, when you make an investment in understanding, you always get a satisfactory return in growth.
