Familiar faces enliven chapel George Pepperdine’s dream to found a small, liberal arts Christian college came true in 1937. During Monday chapel this fall, Mrs. George Pepperdine was on hand to lead the fortieth anniversary processional which included the A Capella choir, the orchestra and faculty members in academic robes. Actress Jeanette Clift George, star of the movie “The Hiding Place, ' Art Linkletter with his bicentennial Junior Tyler Ecology Award presentation, and Raymond L. Eden, Executive Director of the Los Angeles County Heart Association provided many interesting chapel assemblies. Besides these speakers, other guests included County Supervisor Kenneth Hahn, former choir director Charles King and minister Roy Osborne.
