'Operation Pool led to several revolutionary projects and presentations. A concert featuring les Baxter was the official kick-off for the series of fund-raising activities. The concert was followed by o gigantic carnival replacing the usual homecoming parade. Other events included swim and sports shows. 24

With slacks that weren't pressed, and wild bermudos, that held our pent-up energies wc skipped our afternoon classes. It was the All School Picnic at Centinella Pork, lots of laughs, class games, and all you could eat. Freshmen threw away their beanies, and the seniors won the competition.
