From Beginning To End . . .it all takes place in here . . . our school, like a maze, full of choices, decisions, new directions found, with back-tracking at times . . . but with every confronting obstacle we are molds ed into better people as we learn and as we are molded by our teachers. For the freshmen the maze is a brand new beginning. Everything is new. Friends, surroundings, activities and classes are all exciting but yet threatening. Freshman move into one of the biggest changes of their lives. Recess becomes but a mere memory. They soon take education more serious- ly. They find that their future depends on higher education. Por the freshman it's just the beginning of four years that will be cherrished for the rest of their lives. - As for the sophomores- they have made it through the breaking-in period. They know the rules 8: regulations . . . the ropes so to speak. One thing they are sure of: They're glad that they aren't freshmen anymore! The sophomores are an optimistic group-they are always looking up. . .up to the day that they will be upper-classmen. Ahh! the junior year! finally the upper crust of Panther Country going to the Prom without being asked, driving to school, being in the musicahbecoming an officer in the band, getting on the yearbook staff - a great year, but still not the top cat! Enter the seniors! the rulers, the collest of the cats! They just about have the maze conquered by their senior year . . . or at least they thought they did until Ms. Cameron's class. But later on many such classes are valued as essential corri- dors in the maze of our school. For the senior, the land of the Panther ends . . . but the Pride roams the world.
